We won't reveal any metrics on the bid but you can calculate the average yourself. I'm updating the original post with the PLEX prize payout right now.
Sorry you guys didn't get in, hopefully we'll see you next tournament! eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

Bam Stroker wrote:Janette Vlaex wrote:will sisi be mirrored for participants? Yes please, CCP! Or if that's too much work can you maybe give characters in participating teams some free SP on Sisi so that we can bring our char's skills up to speed with their TQ equivalents?
I'll quote my dev blog on this matter:
Quote:PRACTICE
For this tournament teams must choose to either practice on Singularity or on Tranquility. In an effort to aid the training on Singularity, especially for newer players that might rely on skillpoints that havenGÇÿt been mirrored over yet, we will be handing out skillpoints to those who request them. In order to be eligible for the skillpoints your character must have been created before the last mirror and therefore exist on Singularity, and you must be a registered member on a tournament team. Players can apply for the skillpoints by filing a support ticket to the Community queue between the end of the silent auction on January the 23rd and January 30th. We will then hand out the skillpoints in the following days. eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

Do you know how much SP is expected to be handed out on Sisi through these petitions? Given the age of the mirror (late October iirc) some players may need more than others due to not having had access or not keeping up with training. I know I wouldn't need much since I've been participating in the SCL and have been training as a result, for example, but there are a few people on my team who would be very, very out of date in that regard and would probably need a fair amount. We'll do a rough calculation and then give out a little bit more than that, The aim here is to give people enough skillpoints to be well off for practice. eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

maybe next time have an open qualifier.
Anyway may the RICHEST team win.
and so what...? The 5 signup plexes for the teams that werent chosen by CCP to participate, you keeping those?
I was actually talking about having a qualifier for future NEO's earlier today and I am looking thoroughly into how it would be best to do that.
As for the 5 PLEX from the teams that didn't get in, they will be refunded.
And let's keep this thread relatively clean please, I don't want to go around deleting posts here :) eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

Any time-frame on this?? Its a NEO promise, so going off the payment time of the NEO prize shirts from NEO 1 id say minimum you're looking at is 14 months Haha, we are working on this now :) I personally promise that we will refund the PLEX to the teams that didn't get in before the end of this week! eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

So can i take that as confirmation that you haven't been working on these t shirts previously, as you guys may have informed us before last summer expansion time? The work on the t-shirts was ongoing but there were a few roadblocks with the original design. Yes we have been working on it, no everything did not go smoothly. That is not an excuse for why it took so long but moving forward we are working towards delivering things faster. eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

Cool response, er, Bro Can you expand on these roadblocks? Maybe I'm being cynical but i find it almost impossible to believe there could be anything that could hold up such a relatively simple bit of work as producing a virtual tshirt design for so so long. Especially with CCP producing and releasing several new Tshirt designs over the last 12 months. I understand that the plex for good tshirt was a much much more noble cause to develop for, but you guys knocked that bad boy up and had it out within a month at most. What exactly makes the NEO prize Tshirt so difficult to produce? I mean, you got the NEO payments sorted and that whole debacle seems infinitely more complex and out of your comfort zone as a company than whipping up some virtual items does. What is the excuse/reasons for taking so long? How have your processes changed "moving forward" to ensure such ridiculous situations don't occur from now on? Why did you promise a prize you had not developed, and couldn't implement?
I really, really, really, don't want to derail this thread with this topic to be quite honest but you ask valid questions and deserve an answer. As you rightfully point out this isn't such a complex issue, there were clashes when it came to the design. These went unresolved for a little bit and the project fell by the wayside for a while after that. There were recurring discussions about getting them out but no traction was gained for the longest time.
Like I said earlier, there is no excuse for this taking so long so I'm not going to try and provide one. What we want to focus on now is getting the shirt out and then making sure future stuff like this takes less time. This includes defining the work process a lot more and making the whole thing more streamlined and free of roadblocks that knock the project aside. I'm sorry I can't go into more detail but we basically want the process to be as smooth as possible so this kind of delay doesn't happen again. eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

Seldarine wrote:Re-railing thread:
When do you expect to get the rosters posted ?
And is there an update on what can be done for team characters that were purchased after the server mirror, can those people request skill-points be added to other characters they own on the test server ?
I will be manually transferring the purchased character over to the account it is currently on TQ so the player can practice with the character they will be flying in the tournament. To get that done please send a support ticket to the community queue, note that I will double check on what account the character is on TQ so don't try to fool me! I might get angry
Today and tomorrow we will be sending out a ticket to all team captains asking them to finalize their roster, note here that only people that have been invited to the team (have they accepted or not) are eligible to join a finalized team roster. eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

Wyte Ragnarok wrote:*Poke* So when abouts will we be getting those aforementioned SISI skill points? Petition is in (on SISI) Since handing them out to only those that petition would mean that a script would have to be run every other day because some people petition sooner than other people we have decided to hand out to all characters that are registered and have a captain that has submitted a final roster for the team on Friday.
I have just contacted all the team captains asking for their final 12 character roster. If we get replies from all the teams earlier than Friday we will try and speed up the SP handout. eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |

Greygal wrote:Received mail requesting final roster, have a quick question: Is the format for us to submit our final roster single line or single item per line? Meaning, do you want it this way:
TEAM NAME MEMBER1 MEMBER2 MEMBER3
or this way:
TEAM NAME MEMBER1 MEMBER2 MEMBER3
Also, am I right to assume you want everything all-caps?
Sorry for what may seem like silly questions, but I want to be sure I'm submitting properly, and the email to me says "Please respond in the following format" with it all-caps on a single line, but no indication how to delineate between members who have more than one word in their name.
Ya, I overthink things....
GG
To be honest, both works. I'd prefer the names in a list format as that makes it easier to read. And all caps is not required nor encouraged :) eSports Coordinator for the EVE Universe & Community Specialist |
